Hi Richard – as a survivor from the first days at Wigan I still have a very soft spot in my heart for Northern Soul. Now living in Vancouver but it would appear that I can’t get access to the Smooth Radio link
Hoping to retire in two years and then coming back to the UK so may be able to rekindle my love affair with Northern.

Yes, they did something a few years ago to prohibit access to the programme which is a real shame as I used to get some great feedback from American artists- I remember the Teen Turbans getting in touch with me once!
I ll look forward to meeting you at a gig sometime in 2014 when you come “home”

Great show last night from start to finish!!!! Would it be possible to send me a playlist…………?? I am a regular at the Tower, Winter Gardens and the Wheel and know most of the brilliant tunes played but there were a few I didn’t recognise and would like to track them down.
