To be staged in a luxurious Spiegel Tent , and aiming to transport us musically back to the heady days of late summer 1972 when the American charts were packed with soul gems , The Blackpool Mecca was in full flow, and the Northern Soul scene was in the ascendancy . Add to that some Wigan Casino All Nighter classics and a sprinkling of Manchester Ritz All Dayer modern anthems , then top it off with some Philly International class, some tasty jazz funk and early disco tunes and it all makes for a ‘dayer to savour!
DJs are myself, with Neil Rushton, Colin Curtis, Neil Rushton, Kev Roberts, Ian Dewhirst and Mark Grice and the event runs from 3pm until midnight on SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 1st.
