Also doubling as part of my 60th birthday celebrations, our first soul cruise on the river Tyne takes place between 14.00 – 18.00 hrs this Sunday June 17th.

Many thanks to Paul Conroy for setting this one up, it’s looking like being a great day out on the river , followed by an after cruise free event at the splendid Curtis Mayfield House, Carliol Square in Newcastle.

Sailing from Newcastle-upon-Tyne Quayside , DJs on the boat with me include Ginger and Neil Rushton and together we’ll be featuring some of our all-time favourite soul tracks . There is a great sound system, dancefloor and fully licensed bar also.

The boats holds a maximum of 180 people and we have already sold over 100 tickets in advance.  If you fancy a Sunday soul cruise this weekend then if you arrive on the quayside at 1.30pm we will be doing some “pay on the day” tickets, priced at £25 per person.

Please arrive no later that 13.45 as the boat has to sail at 14.00 promptly.
